Impressive 1915-S Pan-Pac 50 Dollar Round in Select BU

1915-S $50 Panama-Pacific 50 Dollar Round MS 63 PCGS. A more difficult coin to locate than its already scarce octagonal counterpart, this issue was produced to the extent of only 1,500 pieces. Lack of public demand, however, forced the Mint to melt all but 483 examples of this impressive commemorative. A desirable Select BU example, the lightly marked surfaces show the characteristic honey-gold color of the issue. Light, mottled haziness is visible at select angles, but the boldly impressed features would captivate even the most casual observer. A prized commodity that belongs in the finest collection of commemorative coinage. (NGC ID# BYHP, PCGS# 7451)
