Description

1915-S Pan-Pac Gold Dollar, MS67+
CAC, Tied for Finest

1915-S G$1 Panama-Pacific Gold Dollar MS67+ PCGS. CAC. Several obverse designs were proposed by Charles Keck for the gold dollar design featuring Balboa, two variations of Poseidon, and a canal worker. The canal worker was chosen as it stood for impressive laborers who built one of the man-made wonders of the world. This piece displays deep golden luster with some lighter hues within the fields that serve to create an alluring contrast. There are no marks or abrasions that would diminish this attractive, well-struck Registry-worthy example. PCGS Population: 101 in 67 (12 in 67+), 0 finer (3/26).
