    Description

Exemplary 1917 McKinley Gold Dollar MS66

1917 G$1 McKinley MS66 NGC. An estimated 5,000 1917 McKinley dollars escaped Treasury furnaces, from the initial production of 10,000 pieces. Sales were disappointing, since many collectors who purchased a 1916 example passed on acquiring a second date of an identical type. This is a nearly pristine Premium Gem with dazzling luster and consistent straw-gold color.
