Description

1922 G$1 Grant With Star MS64 PCGS. There is little difference in the relative scarcity of the With Star and No Star Grant gold dollars, but it does provide diversity for collectors of commemorative gold dollars, in an era prior to mintmark varieties on commemoratives. This piece has radiant yellow-gold surfaces, and it would surely grade MS65 were it not for a tiny planchet void located on Grant's neck, directly below the ear.(Registry values: N2998)
