Lustrous 1922 Grant With Star Dollar, MS65

1922 G$1 Grant With Star MS65 PCGS. Housed in a green-label PCGS holder, this Gem Grant With Star gold dollar has frosty light yellow luster, sharp design definition, and few surface marks of any consequence. The incuse Star on the obverse had no significance, and was created within the Mint for unknown reasons, to the delight of the Grant association, who had a second variety to sell for their fund raising efforts.(Registry values: N2998)
