Stunning MS68 1922 Grant With Star Dollar
1922 G$1 Grant with Star MS68 NGC. Unlike the half dollars of the same design, the Grant With Star and No Star gold dollars are of roughly equal rarity; that is, both are extremely challenging to find in pleasing Mint State, much less at the stratospheric MS68 level represented by this spectacular Superb Gem. The fine details of the portrait and the trees are uncommonly strong, and the highly lustrous butter-yellow and peach surfaces are impeccably preserved.
