Splendid Gem 1926 Sesquicentennial Quarter Eagle
1926 $2 1/2 Sesquicentennial MS65 NGC. The low-relief design of the 1926 Sesquicentennial quarter eagles and half dollars made them unpopular at the time, and today both issues are difficult to grade and seldom found at the Gem level. This coin offers splendidly lustrous orange-gold surfaces that are remarkably free of the numerous ticks and abrasions that so frequently plague the issue.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# BYLT, PCGS# 7466, GSID# 10213)
