Description
Boldly Struck Gem 1926 Sesquicentennial
1926 $2 1/2 Sesquicentennial MS65 PCGS. The low-relief design of these Sesquicentennial issues makes them hard to find "nice," meaning well-struck and without major signs of contact on the "high" points. This piece is one such, however, with a good strike and only a couple of obverse marks on Liberty's torso that likely preclude an even finer grade. The issue is much more difficult at the Premium Gem level.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# BYLT, PCGS# 7466, GSID# 10213)
