Description
Well Struck Gem 1926 Sesquicentennial Quarter Eagle
1926 $2 1/2 Sesquicentennial MS65 PCGS. Because of the low-relief design, examples of this issue that are well struck can be elusive. This is one such piece, however, with good articulation on Liberty's face and hands, and the facade of the building on the reverse. Booming luster complements the pleasing orange-gold coloration. An elusive issue at the next grade level. (Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# BYLT, PCGS# 7466, GSID# 10213)
