    Description

    Three Coin 1915-S Panama-Pacific Set
    With Original Panama-Pacific Holder
Gold Dollar and Quarter Eagle MS66
    Half Dollar, MS67

Three-Piece 1915-S Panama-Pacific Set with Box MS66 to MS67 PCGS. The set includes: Half Dollar MS67, thoroughly patinated in variegated golden-brown and forest-green, boldly struck, pristine save for a single mark near the right wreath end, a magnificent representative of this famously conditionally rare early silver issue, as of (9/10), just two pieces graded above the MS67 level by both PCGS and NGC combined; Gold Dollar MS66, rich apricot toning with glimpses of lilac on the reverse, lustrous and immaculate with a razor-sharp strike; and a Quarter Eagle MS66, deep peach-gold toning with occasional hints of apple-green, intricately struck and lustrous with exceptional eye appeal, the reverse is essentially pristine while the obverse is undisturbed aside from faint hairline on the head of the hippocampus, as of (9/10), PCGS has graded just 20 coins above MS66. All three coins are housed in green label holders.
The original holder accompanies the lot. It is square-shaped with a dark cardboard exterior and a purple velvet inset. The hinge works well, but the corners of the box exhibit wear and minor tears.(Registry values: N4719)
