Description

1893 Isabella Quarter, MS66
Beautifully Toned and Sharp

1893 25C Isabella Quarter MS66 PCGS. Save for the 1848 CAL. quarter eagles, the earliest official commemorative issues in the U.S. coinage series were produced for the World's Columbian Exposition, with half dollars dated 1892 and 1893, and a quarter dated 1893. The 1893 Isabella quarter would end up being the only quarter dollar in the entire classic commemorative series. This Premium Gem displays a bold strike and vibrant, pristine luster. Warm champagne interiors cede to vivid violet, blue, and mint-green border toning. On the obverse, the border toning approaches the interior, while on the reverse is clings to the periphery.(Registry values: N2998)
