Description

1900 $1 Lafayette Dollar MS62 PCGS. DuVall 3-D, an elusive variety characterized by repunching of (ST)AT(ES) on the obverse and a thin-stemmed branch with a leaf over the 9 in the date on the reverse. Light, dappled gold and violet patina dots the otherwise silver-gray surfaces. A well struck piece that shows several slide marks on the portrait that account for the grade.(Registry values: N991)
