Description
1921 50C Alabama 2x2 MS65 PCGS. CAC. Full design detail complements brilliant-silver surfaces with hints of pale gold on the obverse, while nearly unmarked, satin-smooth surfaces throughout both sides hallmark this Gem Alabama 2x2 commemorative. The strike is far sharper than usual, with full feathering on the eagle's forward leg. Only a few tiny ticks exist on Governor Kilby's cheek.Ex: Central States Signature (Heritage, 5/2004), lot 10688.
