1921 50C Alabama 2x2 MS65 PCGS. The 2x2 variety was one of the early "special" issues created to sell two coins to one collector. This satiny and well struck Gem has soft greenish-gold and aqua patina over the luminous surfaces. A tiny graze on Kilby's chin precludes an even finer grade.From The Cary & Cheryl Porter Collection.(Registry values: N2998)
