1921 Alabama 2x2 Half Dollar, MS67
Rare in This Lofty Grade, None Finer
1921 50C Alabama 2x2 MS67 PCGS. CAC. According to our
records we have only offered an Alabama 2x2 coin in this grade on
19 previous occasions since 1993. Four of those offerings were
earlier appearances of this same coin. Only 17 MS67 coins are
reportedly certified at PCGS and NGC combined, with none finer
(11/18). This fabulous coin appears to have been perfectly
preserved over the years. There are none of the distracting
blemishes that usually plague most Alabama half dollar survivors.
Each side is toned in rich, variegated shades of rose, golden, and
lilac, and the coin is sharp in all areas. An exemplary example,
tied for finest known. Population: 9 in 67 (2 in 67+), 0 finer.
