Description
Impressive 1921 Missouri 2x4 Half Dollar, Gem Mint State
1921 50C Missouri 2x4 MS65 PCGS. The 2x4 Missouri half dollar is considerably scarcer than its plain counterpart, and has a distribution of just 5,000 pieces. This lightly toned Gem has remarkable satiny luster that highlights the nearly full strike, with only a trace of weakness on the high points. Numerous planchet striations are visible under a glass, and there are a few minor marks on each side. An appealing example of this elusive issue.
