Description
Lustrous 1921 Missouri 2X4 Gem Half Dollar
1921 50C Missouri 2x4 MS65 PCGS. Both sides of this Gem Missouri 2x4 commemorative are awash with pleasing luster, with a medley of tan, champagne-gold, and violet patination bathing each. A sharp strike impresses the design elements, and both faces are nicely preserved. The "2x4" notation was apparently the idea of James Montgomery, chairman of the Missouri Centennial Exposition.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# BYH2, PCGS# 9331, GSID# 10329)
