Description

1921 Half Dollar, MS66
Missouri Centennial Commemorative

1921 50C Missouri MS66 NGC. A sharply struck and vibrant Premium Gem, this 1921 'plain' half dollar designed by Robert Aitken commemorates the State of Missouri's admission into the Union in 1821. The surfaces display brilliant mint luster with only a couple of faint surface marks detectable on the obverse. Eye appeal is excellent. Examples are scarce in this grade, and NGC reports only eight numerically finer pieces (3/26).(Registry values: N4719)
