Description
1922 50C Grant no Star MS66 PCGS. Peripheral iridescence enhances the ivory luster of this satiny Premium Gem. The strike is sharper than usual for this issue with virtually full details on both sides. By comparison with other commemorative issues from the early 20th century, the mintage of 67,405 Grant half dollars is rather low, with most survivors in lower Mint State grades, or even lightly circulated. PCGS has only graded 33 finer pieces (8/07).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# BYGP, PCGS# 9306, GSID# 10311)
