1922 50C Grant with Star MS62 NGC. Mistaken orders at the Philadelphia Mint resulted in this notable low-mintage variety, one that has been the subject of much fakery over the years. The lustrous, minimally toned surfaces of this piece show scattered marks, including several reed marks on Grant's forehead.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# BYPP, PCGS# 9307, GSID# 10313)
