Description
1922 50C Grant with Star MS63 PCGS. This low-mintage Grant variant was actually an accident, as the beneficiaries of the Grant pieces had asked for stars on part of the gold dollar mintage, but not the halves. The Select example offered here is lightly marked overall and luminous beneath green-gold and blue toning on the obverse. The reverse has thinner, paler patina.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# BYPP, PCGS# 9307, GSID# 10313)
