Delightful 1922 Grant Half Dollar
With Star, Premium Gem
1922 50C Grant With Star MS66 PCGS. The Grant With Star half
dollar is one of the scarcest issues in the classic commemorative
series with a net distribution of just 4,256 pieces. Premium Gems
are seldom encountered. This frosty representative has various
shades of red and gold in the margins, while the centers are
silver-gray. The fields show numerous striations, as often seen,
and there are only a couple of trivial imperfections. NGC and PCGS
combined have certified just nine examples finer (7/09).(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# BYPP, PCGS# 9307, GSID# 10313)
