Description
Outstanding Premium Gem 1923-S Monroe Half
1923-S 50C Monroe MS66 PCGS. Potent luster and original pearl-gray toning proclaim the eye appeal of this sharply struck representative. A handful of minute marks are visible, but none of these suggest a lesser grade for this remarkable Premium Gem. The Monroe half dollar has a substantial mintage for a silver commemorative, but much of the production was released into circulation, and the Monroe is among the most famous conditionally elusive commemoratives.
