    Description

    1925 Lexington Half Dollar, MS67
    Vibrant Luster, Subtle Toning

1925 50C Lexington MS67 PCGS. Struck to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Lexington and Concord, the 1925 Lexington half dollar claims a generous distribution of 162,013 pieces. The issue is easily located in lower Mint State grades, but few survivors are seen at the MS67 level.

This delightful Superb Gem is sharply detailed throughout with vibrant flashy mint luster that shows glimmers of cartwheels. Shades of yellow, sage, and ink-blue toning are prominent on both sides, most visibly as an amber "underline" to the Old Belfry on the reverse. Overall eye appeal is tremendous. Population: 10 in 67 (2 in 67+), 1 finer (9/13).(Registry values: N4719) (NGC ID# BYGW, PCGS# 9318)
