Lavishly Toned Gem 1926
Sesquicentennial Half Dollar
1926 50C Sesquicentennial MS65 NGC. Fully patinated in
orange, lilac, and jade-green. An above average strike with only
minor incompleteness on the cheek. A satiny and splendid Gem of
this conditionally rare issue. Although sales of the
Sesquicentennial half were considerable, most pieces are
indifferently struck and lack eye appeal. The present piece
