Description
Luminous Gem 1926 Sesquicentennial Half
1926 50C Sesquicentennial MS65 PCGS. The Sesquicentennial halves and quarter eagles are among the most famous classic commemorative condition rarities, and the silver Gem offered here shows strong luster for the issue. Both sides give off a metallic gleam through silver-blue central patina and the tan toning at the margins. PCGS has graded just eight finer examples (12/08).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# BYJ4, PCGS# 9374, GSID# 10365)
