Description

1926 50C Sesquicentennial MS65 PCGS. Bright lemon-gold toning forms about the margins, leaving the well-struck centers bathed in more subtle lilac-gray shades. This issue's shallow relief and broad distribution (many thousands were sold to the general public) combine to make it a challenging issue in Gem or finer grades. PCGS reports just 11 numerically finer examples (2/18).
