Description

1927 50C Vermont MS65 PCGS. Honey-gold and cream-gray toning embrace this lustrous and fully struck Gem. Splendidly smooth and highly attractive. Given the high relief of the design and the quality of strikes, the Philadelphia Mint must have used exceptional die pressure, perhaps in response to complaints about the indifferently struck Sesquicentennial halves made the year before.(Registry values: N991)
