Description
Bright 1928 Hawaiian Fifty Cent Commemorative, MS61
1928 50C Hawaiian MS61 ICG. The bright untoned surfaces of this Hawaii commemorative exhibit relatively well struck design features. Wispy marks show up under high magnification and a shallow graze is located in the lower left reverse field. David Bowers (2008) points out that the $2 issue price was the highest for any commemorative half up to this time.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# BYGR, PCGS# 9309, GSID# 10314)
