Description
1928 Hawaiian Half Dollar, MS64 CAC
Split Golden Toning
1928 50C Hawaiian MS64 PCGS. CAC. There were 10,000 pieces
minted which were supposed to be an even split between the mainland
and island, though they would be bought by such fervor in Hawaii
that a majority would remain on the islands. This example is split
in half with iron-silver luster as well as encroaching golden
tones. Only a handful of minor abrasions appear on the coin but are
not diminishing to the appeal with CAC endorsement substantiating
this.(Registry values: N1793)From The Sal J. Criscuolo Collection.
