1928 50C Hawaiian MS64 PCGS. The 1928 Hawaii silver commemorative silver half dollar celebrates the 150th anniversary of the arrival of Captain James Cook at the Hawaiian Islands. The final distribution was just 10,008 coins, and the issue quickly sold out. This attractive example displays well-struck devices on brilliant and lustrous surfaces layered with a delicate mix of champagne and lilac overtones. Some light reed marks are seen of the obverse and a few trivial nicks on the reverse account for the grade.(Registry values: N1793)
