Description
Collectible 1928 Hawaiian Half Dollar, MS64 PCGS
1928 50C Hawaiian MS64 PCGS. Struck to commemorate the discovery of the Sandwich Islands by Captain Cook in 1778, only a small number of Halves were produced, and as a result, surviving examples are very pricey and always of interest to collectors. This is a lovely and totally original coin that has reddish-golden toning over most of each side and just a smidgen of mint-green on the reverse. There are just a few minor abrasions on this lovely, satin-surfaced piece.(#9309) (Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# BYGR, PCGS# 9309, GSID# 10314)
