1935/34-S Boone Half Dollar, Sharp MS67
Scarce This Fine

1935/34-S 50C Boone MS67 PCGS Secure. The Daniel Boone Bicentennial half dollar was first issued in 1934 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Boone's birth. When the series continued in 1935, the original 1934 date was added to the field of the reverse, creating in essence a dual date coin. This Superb Gem example of the San Francisco issue is sharp and satiny, showing delicate champagne toning. Examples this well preserved are elusive, and finer pieces are rare.
