Impressive 1935 Spanish Trail Half, MS67
1935 50C Spanish Trail MS67 NGC. A touch of gold on the rims is the only hint of color on this essentially untoned Superb Gem. This issue is often seen with numerous abrasions, but the present piece is remarkably clean. Careful inspection with a loupe reveals faint die polish lines and a couple of nearly microscopic marks. NGC and PCGS combined have certified just eight examples finer (8/09).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# BYJ5, PCGS# 9376, GSID# 10366)
