Description
1935 50C Two-Piece Connecticut Half Dollar Lot With Presentation Boxes, One Coin Uncertified, One Coin MS64 PCGS. The MS64 PCGS coin is sharp and lightly toned with ivory luster that has deep russet in the protected portions of the fields. This piece was offered raw in the 2005 Jewell auction by ANR, where it was accompanied by two of the silver foil hinge boxes that were among the original distribution methods used by the banks that sold these coins. Those silver foil boxes remain with the coin.The current lot also includes a second Connecticut half dollar, which is raw and toned a light champagne hue. It includes its original red presentation box with red velour interior. The lid of the box has a bronze-colored border stripe but no other printing.
