Description

1935-D Daniel Boone Half Dollar, MS67
Among the Finest Certified

1935-D 50C Boone MS67 PCGS. Varieties of the 1935-D Daniel Boone Bicentennial half dollars were coined both with and without an added "1934" date in the right reverse field. This piece represents the slightly more available "Plain" variety, of which only 5,000 pieces were struck (plus five coins for assay purposes). This lustrous example displays mottled hues of amber and olive gold over each side, with deeper green and orange tinges seen periodically around the rims. The strike is well-executed, and the surfaces are free of any noticeable flaws. Population: 13 in 67 (1 in 67+), 0 finer (7/14).(Registry values: N1793)
