Pleasing 1936 Long Island Commemorative, MS67 NGC
1936 50C Long Island MS67 NGC. Commemorated the 300th anniversary of the founding of the first settlement on Long Island, Breuckelin on Jamaica Bay, later spelled Brooklyn. Lustrous surfaces are visited by a melange of lavender, olive, orange-gold, sea-green, and violet colors. Nicely struck, with no mentionable marks.
