Description
1936 50C Lynchburg MS67 NGC. Light tan toning accents the fully struck features and unblemished surfaces. This Superb piece had a distribution just over 20,000 pieces. Ironically, the obverse depicts former secretary of the Treasury Carter Glass, who had previously frowned upon using the portraits of living men on coins.From The Aspen Collection.(Registry values: N1793)
