Splendid 1936 York, MS68
1936 50C York MS68 NGC. The 1936 York commemorative is one of the few silver commemoratives that can be occasionally encountered in this "Superb Gem Plus" certified grade. Of the more than 200,000 silver commemoratives that NGC has certified, currently 648, or about one-quarter of 1%, are MS68s, and many series issues show only one or two MS68s certified, at most. The York, on the other hand, has 30 examples in this grade.
