Description

1937 50C Roanoke Half Dollar, MS66 PCGS. The coin is beautifully sharp and lustrous, yielding mostly brilliant surfaces with hints of amber, gold, and iridescence around the borders. Includes the original five-slot cardboard distribution holder with coin description flip cover and the original mailing envelope, which is marked with an insurance value of $1.50, denoting a single coin as its contents. Also included are four additional Roanoke half dollar distribution holders, one of a differing style and apparently unused, one in poor condition. An additional mailing envelope is also present, though its stamps have been cut out.
