    1938-D Arkansas Half, MS67
    Satiny, Well-Preserved Example

    1938-D 50C Arkansas MS67 PCGS. The Denver Mint distributed only 3,150 Arkansas Centennial half dollars in 1938 (plus five pieces for assay purposes), and these were all sold as part of three-coin sets along with an example each from Philadelphia and San Francisco. This is a rare Superb Gem survivor. Both of the profiles on the obverse are essentially free of contact, and the surfaces are well-preserved throughout with just the barest hint of amber-copper color near the rims. Population: 31 in 67 (4 in 67+), 2 finer (10/21).
