1938-D 50C Boone MS67+ PCGS. CAC. The final-year Boone PDS set has among the lowest mintages of any silver commemorative issue, only slightly higher than 1935-D and 1935-S varieties with 1934 in the field. The present boldly struck Superb Gem displays attractive pastel wheat-gold, rose-red, and lime-green toning. PCGS has certified 9 pieces as MS67+ and only 5 pieces finer (4/19).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# BYG7, PCGS# 9275, GSID# 10259)
