    1938-D 50C Oregon MS68 PCGS. CAC. This D-mint Superb Gem displays rich russet and red toning with emerald-green and light-brown hues from long-term storage in the original packaging. The surfaces glisten with frosted mint luster throughout both sides. A sharp strike renders bold detail on the motifs, with just a bit of softness at the back of the covered wagon. Only a few tiny ticks exist, and they are invisible to the unaided eye. Population: 51 in 68 (9 in 68+), 3 finer. CAC: 26 in 68, 0 finer (7/19).(Registry values: N1793)
