Description

1938-S 50C Texas MS67 NGC. A satiny and essentially pristine Superb Gem with light olive-green and ice-blue toning. Well struck, with only a hint of planchet surface on the knee of the Winged Victory. 1938 was the lowest mintage PDS set of the Texas type, which ended its five year run that year. Census: 68 in 67, 11 finer (10/09).(Registry values: N1793)
