Description

1938-S 50C Texas MS67 PCGS Secure. CAC. The 1938-S is the final San Francisco issue in the five-year series of the Texas Independence Centennial half dollar. Superb Gems are scarce, and coins are rarely offered finer than the present. This CAC-approved coin displays sharp design elements and satiny luster. Warm golden toning overall cedes to crimson and forest-green around the outer reverse periphery. PCGS lists only three finer submissions (9/18).(Registry values: N1793)
