1946-D 50C Booker T. Washington MS67+ PCGS. CAC. The Booker
T. Washington half was another classic commemorative that was
distributed for an inordinately long amount of time from 1946 to
1951, most of which would be melted as sales never met the 5
million pieces allowed. The present piece displays attractive
iridescence around the edges before fragmenting amongst the silver
luster towards the center. The strike is strong, with no major
abrasions that would be detrimental to the appeal. PCGS Population:
