Splendidly Toned MS67 1951-S Washington-Carver Half
1951-S 50C Washington-Carver MS67 NGC. The splendid pinkish-gray center on the reverse deepens at the rims into gold, jade, and cinnamon. The reverse show an untoned central area with a wide band of varying colors, attractive but unusual. This piece is clearly atop the Condition Census, as it is one of 13 MS67s at NGC, and PCGS has never graded one finer than MS66 (9/09).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# BYL2, PCGS# 9432, GSID# 10394)
