    1920 50C Maine MS67 PCGS. CAC. The Maine Centennial half dollar was a one-year commemorative, issued in 1920 from the Philadelphia Mint to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Maine's statehood. Distribution totaled 50,000 pieces, plus assay coins. This Superb Gem survivor displays softly frosted, golden-toned mint luster and an intricate strike. Eye appeal is spectacular and the originality of the surfaces is undeniable. No numerically finer coins are recognized by PCGS. Population: 60 in 67 (8 in 67+), 0 finer. CAC: 32 in 67, 0 finer (9/19).(Registry values: N2998) (NGC ID# BYGY, PCGS# 9326)
