    Description

1936 50C Wisconsin MS67 PCGS. The 25,000 Wisconsin halves (plus assay pieces) ordered by the distributors of the issue represented the minimum number the Mint could strike, though whether the Coinage Committee of the Wisconsin Centennial Celebration could acquire more was an open question. Rich rose-plum toning covers the lower and right sections of this frosty half, while the rest of the piece is silver-gray.
