    1936-D 50C Cincinnati MS66 PCGS. The Cincinnati half dollars' exploitative marketing made the issues infamous in American numismatics. This is a strongly lustrous example of the Denver version, pleasingly detailed with only the faintest hints of golden toning near the margins. PCGS has graded only 28 finer pieces (9/07).
